   Really a shame they did this series! The characters are complex, multifaceted and slowly revealed as the story unfolds. Dark refreshing and innovative perspective from an underdog perspective - Fox had placed the series I suspect that there have faired as well as the new Battlestar Galactica. Unfortunately, management saw fit to try to act "tries to cheer it" far too much direct. Much potential for increasing the depth of the characters and twists and lots of fun moments that we all have one time or another have thought when caught in a challenging situation to reflect. Nevertheless, it is worth the rent, and if you SyFy as it is a fun ride.

I do not think there's much I can say about Firefly that has not already been said. I love it. I will always. Would somebody please Nathan Fillion a job where he is not under Fox thumb?

   There is a visceral edge to this bittersweet tragicomedy 2011, that the loose structure of the first-person narrative easier to hit than you would expect, makes. Writer / Director Mike Mills bases his film on a series of events that came into his own life. Only a few months after Mills' own mother died, gave his 75-year-old father, who despite her 44-year marriage to gays, he and his remaining days are spent exploring the hidden side of his libido was. Cancer cut short these plans but not the life-affirming spirit with which he explores his new life. It certainly helps that 81-year-old Mills, Christopher Plummer cast as the father for his scholarly ways complements his natural character of Hal's house fey quality in a way that his late-flowering emotional emancipation makes it even nicer. It is well to remember a beautiful performance in next year's award season.

The protagonist of the story is Oliver, a sensitive artist, who soon find themselves forty and not able to maintain a lasting relationship upright. Family dysfunction has taken its toll on Oliver added that he was six months after the death of his mother, Georgia, that Hal was in the closet most of Oliver's life, which explains why his parents never seemed to connect emotionally discovered. Oliver is clearly concerned a similar fate suppressed feelings will befall him, as he rummages through Hal things after his death. Flashbacks show an eccentric childhood by way of Georgia with Hal banished to the shadows of the doors always dominated on the way to another business trip. In the meantime, closer to the present, Oliver meets a free-spirited French actress named Anna, whose coquettish manner softened their own vulnerability, given that their own family's challenges in the development of romantic connections. Mills weaves his characters' fates with the heaviness of life in all its familiarity. There is little you could call pat and predictable in this movie.

  The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is the first in a trilogy of detective novels by Swedish journalist Stieg Larsson wrote. Larsson wrote it in his spare time, as a form of entertainment. Now to the story:

   I must say, I do not normally reviewed films. I usually try to pound (haha so my name) I also tend not to stay to see movies that were based on pounds, they are never really means: Eragon, Blood and Chocolate and even the Harry Potter movies were missing tons of pages in the stories that books. I saw twilight the day it came out and was both relieved that it was so close to the book, and frustrated, because, as the book was lacking action. Only the last five minutes had to fight everyone. The same was true in New Moon, while they followed the book closely, it was only the last 10 minutes, where Edward was fought with the Volturi, the action-packed. I must say I liked Eclipse. I found that with all of degree Meyer's books (especially Breaking Dawn) there was a huge building on the fight scenes, then fell apart easily. Yes, it is for a younger age group, but sometimes a little more fighting and action is good. Eclipse delivered goods by the action film, set primarily the "big battle" I wish the writers would be so much trouble in the first two have with the action. David Slade, the director, also did Hard Candy (amazing movie) and 30 Days of Night. I think it was brilliant, it in the project and hope he stays for Breaking Dawn.

I am also glad that Kristen Stewert is better facial expressions in this film. You can not see how her face is frozen in two words. Edward delivers more side effects comments with good comic timing. Jacob is hurt in this film, but the interaction between all three is much less forced and more natural than the first two films. It is without doubt the best of the bunch. I do not want to sink into this review with the plot, because apparently have 99% of the people who read the book on Eclipse at least twice. But I can say that, unlike the other two movies, I actually found myself wondering what happens next, and look at us, would like Bella and Edward (and yes, Jacob) react. I'd say if you were on the fence to the other two films go see it if you hated the first two films, this is an infinitely better and if you loved the first two films, I can only say that you love this one even more.

   I've seen this film chosen for lack of comedic value. I would rate from these users for offering an opinion about a film, for which they do not read the advertised description.

This film has substance. It was well written, well directed and well produced. It was a very worthwhile use of my time. Sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes heartwarming, sometimes funny ... but always very real. I never heard of this movie before I saw the trailer attached to some video on youtube. It deserves more press because it is a common but often overlooked is life experience. Well-intentioned people who struggle constantly to avoid drowning in their own vices find something encouraging in this film. I liked that this film was less formulaic and more realistic than most Hollywood fare. Will Farrell is a perfectly capable actor who does not seem in the least restricted by typecasting.

   As a big fan of Ayn Rand's great novel Atlas Shrugged, I expect a less than stellar film version of the book. Fortunately, I was very pleased with the first installment of the film.

With the length and scope of the story, it requires either an incredibly long movie or split into several parts, which they decided to do here. While I've heard a lot about the overall low budget film, it's still done very well and they spent some good money on CGI effects for the John Galt Line. Taylor Schilling is actually very good, like Dagny Taggart - it projects the high-end efficiency and passion of the character, and it is appropriately sexy as well. Grant Bowler as Hank Reardon turns out to be a good choice as well.

Bottom line, if I brought my 16-year-old daughter to see the movie, and I expected that it "boring" or otherwise uninteresting. Big surprise, however: they loved it! She likes the story and was very drawn to the character of Dagny Taggart. Dagny is such an inspirational role model for women, and I'm glad to see my daughter was inspired as well.
